Apostle Paul M.E. sings a powerful song with the congregants
Our Lord Jesus Christ, in His high priestly prayer in John 17, prayed …
Our Lord Jesus Christ, in His high priestly prayer in John 17, prayed for the unity of His followers. He said, ‘My prayer is not for them alone. I pray …also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.’ This is the ultimate picture of unity—the unity Jesus wants in His Church; the unity modeled after the relationship between the Father and the Son. Yes, we must be united and this is the work of the Holy Spirit. I pray the Holy Spirit will remove out of the heart of everyone – every feeling of bitterness and hatred, every seed of unbelief, disobedience, slander and betrayal, every attitude of gossip, and every instrument of satan that is causing disunity in the Church, in the name of Jesus Christ. This wonderful song, ‘We Are a Family, We Are One,’ echoes that prayer and calls us to live it out. It’s a reminder that our shared faith in Christ breaks down every barrier and unites us being a Church family here at GNCM as one family under God our Father and in our Lord Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit. As we belong to this GNCM family by divine will, let us truly commit our hearts and ourselves to living in that unity as true members of the church of God. Let us sing this song now as a reminder that we belong to one another and to our Head, Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
